All of our jobseekers, in addition to job-specific skills, have recently undergone training in the following:

  • Manual Handling & COSHH               

Other customised training can be arranged and structured to meet the needs of your vacancies. In the case of the Care Sector, all successful candidates will have their CRB check paid for by JobSmart. 

 

 

Our FREE skills matching service ensures that we match the right candidate, with the relevant skills, experience and attributes to suit your vacancies.  Each month an average of 150 new clients register voluntarily with South Tyneside TEN and are added to the database so we can find the right person for you at the right time.

  

We can act as a recruitment facility catering for everything from CV and application sifting to pre-interview screening and we are able to offer advice on wage subsidies that may be available to you if you decide to employ a resident of South Tyneside .

 

You will have one dedicated point of contact with a member of staff who will work closely with you to ensure your individual needs.

 

 

Once a suitable candidate has been recruited by you, we can provide an after care service to ensure everything is running smoothly both for you and your new employee. A customised, practical support package may be available for successful candidates including grants to pay for training, initial transport costs, childcare and other related "into work" expenses to ensure the transition into employment is a smooth one.
